Bathing with a difference. The beer-vat bath, or «Bier-Bottich-Bad», has been in operation since June 2006. It is the only bath of its kind in Switzerland. First, you bathe in a beer bath for 20 minutes. Then, you are wrapped up in linen towels and you rest for half an hour on a straw bed. The cleansing and invigorating effect of the beer-vat bath pampers the skin and the joints, and since there’s a beer tap, it’s a treat for the tongue as well!
