Männlichen–Kleine Scheidegg hike
The hike from Männlichen (2230 m above sea level) to Kleine Scheidegg (2061 m above sea level) is a classic. In summer, the easy, approximately 80-minute Panorama trail leads from Männlichen south along the eastern flank of Tschuggen, on to Honegg and on to Rotstöckli. It is worth lifting your head again and again to marvel at the steep rock faces or the ice-blue glaciers. But you can also hike from Männlichen to Kleine Scheidegg in winter, albeit on a different route. You will cross the nature-protected Swiss stone pine garden with its ancient, magnificent mountain pines. The hike ends with a half-hour ascent to Kleine Scheidegg. This difficult winter hike takes about two and a half hours.
