Sherlock Holmes Museum Meiringen
The exhibition at the Sherlock Holmes Museum provides interesting insights into the history of crime and policing in London at the end of the 19th century. There is also a wealth of material on Holmes and his constant companion, Dr Watson. The exhibition, which features mostly loaned items, is meant to complement the museum’s main, permanent exhibit, the reconstructed, remodelled living room of the house at 221b Baker Street, where Holmes and Watson lived for many years.
In winter (from 1 November to 30 April), the museum is only open at weekends and over Christmas/New Year and Easter.
